Carolyn’s Story:
Carolyn comes from a long line of jewelers that are steeped in the Turkish heritage of jewelry design. Born and raised in Istanbul, Carolyn has carried the tradition of jewelry in her family from her father to her grandfather before him.
LA jewelry designer Carolyn’s line of inspirational jewelry were born from a tragic time in June of 2005 when she was assaulted and left for dead by a homeless person who brutally beat her with a 2×4 with exposed rusted nails. Through that tragic period in Carolyn’s life and her recovery, she created many of the pieces and inspirational sayings for this line of jewelry.
